We didn’t invent the web cam, nor were we the first to install a web cam in a tropical locale for the world to see; we were just the first on St. Croix to do it, and imitation is the finest form of flattery. We have high standards for our web cams, which are viewed over 4 million times a month! We want you to interact with them; we want you to check in with St. Croix on a daily basis.   10. You Never Know WHAT You Might See.
Although we do not encourage lewd behavior, sometimes we catch someone doing something really funny…and not sure why. We caught this young man “mooning” family in Texas, and a group of anglers with a wahoo they caught showing off to family.
 9. See LIVE Events!
Catch one of our live events on our Harbor Cam like Dog Parades, Jump Ups, group photos, vow renewals and the annual Christiansted Harbor Boat Parade. Even if you can’t be on St. Croix for one of these exciting events, you can still feel like you’re in the middle of the action.
  8. Count The Boats.
You might catch a cruise ship coming into port in Frederiksted on the Beach Cam; Buck Island catamarans or sport fishing boats coming and going on the Christiansted Harbor Cam; and even the ferries and dinghy's rushing to shore in Cruz Bay, St. John.
 7. See How Triathletes REALLY Act!
Watch the athletes during our annual Triathlete Group Photo in Christiansted, which takes place the Friday before the St. Croix Triathlon, right before Jump Up. 2008 was our 4th year to provide this FREE and FUN event for the hardworking athletes to participate in. The act silly, hold up signs, bring the entire team, and answer St. Croix trivia for a chance to win unique St. Croix prizes!   6. So Easy, Anyone Can Do It.
Even a St. Croix policeman. You never know whom you might catch calling friends and family all over the world inviting people to see them live in St. Croix. We provide large, easy to read sign for you to use at our Harbor Cam, or make your own like some people do. It doesn't matter who you are, what you do, or where you are from, EVERYONE uses our webcams! (even St. Croix's finest!)
 5. Catch The First Sunset.
Be apart of a spectacular sunset on the west end, even if you can’t enjoy it in person. We hope that you CAN be at a wonderful west end beach or restaurant enjoying yourself as the big ball of fire sizzles into the sea. Ever heard of the Green Flash? This is where it all happens, if you're lucky. Something you will have to experience in person. BUT, if you can't be sitting on a the beach, at least you can enjoy it in real time at your desk... oh well.

It might be sunny in Christiansted and rainy in Frederiksted. Maybe we have a passing storm and you want to see the waves crashing ashore; or maybe you’re stuck in the basement because your under 3 feet of snow (yuck) and you want to see the beauty and warmth of the St. Croix.

Forget a message in a bottle, write you message directly in the sand on the beach, or hold up one of our easy-to-read signs at the Harbor Cam. All to let you friends and family know you’re having a great time on St. Croix!

And you want to see your family. It does not matter which end of the camera you are on, our webcams are the BEST way to keep in touch with family, near and far. Grandparents watch their grandchildren take their first steps; friends catch a glimpse of newlyweds; parents breath a sigh of relief to see their older children having fun and being safe on vacation. Our St. Croix webcams NEVER show the same image twice. It is always changing and always fun to log on to see what is happening in the Christiansted Harbor or out west on the beach at Sand Castle on The Beach.
