Eco Friendly St. Croix

There are many activities and accommodations that can help you vacation green on St. Croix. Activities include those that have a low-impact on the environment such as kayaking, hiking and even getting a massage! More and more inns, hotels, resorts & villas are learning they can save energy AND money by making a few simple changes.   • Horseback riding on St. Croix has a low impact on the environment. Trail rides are available on St. Croix's west end and usually end with a refreshing dip in the ocean.
  • St. Croix has several areas of wide open spaces where cattle graze, hay is harvested and fruits & vegetables are grown.

  • The community shower house at Mt. Victory relies on solar panels to heat the water and provide electricity.
  • A beach side massage or body treatment at the spa is doing something good for you as well as low impact for the earth.
  • Take a hike along St. Croix's west end and discover beautiful views.
